Lovely friendly town. The town centre is beautiful with well maintained gardens. Great restaurants fabulous Friday market. 15 minutes to Palmerston North and 45 minutes to Whanganui. It’s an easy town to navigate as everything is well signposted. I will definitely be back

An attractive provincial town with good shopping facilities - several large supermarkets, an excellent Friday open-air market, some good op shops and a very large, weekly Friday livestock sale. An easy, 20-minute drive to the nearby university city of Palmerston North. "Friendly Feilding" has won the the annual award for being New Zealand's most beautifull town numerous times.

Loved the Georgian architecture, very good meal at Murray's Irish pub wished we could have tried other places for meals as some of the menus looked good. Didn't get time to see the museum either but the autumn colour was great and we enjoyed wandering round Kowhai Park.

Because my stay was very short just an overnight, we arrived about !30pm and when we decided to go to the CBD I certainly would recommend visitors to go to Feilding. If visitors stay in a Motel close to the city, you do not need to use a vehicle Feilding has everything a lot of food outlets. Our function was at Murry's Irish bar meals recommended service perfect no faults there.
