Great beach. Long and wide and quiet with nice sand to walk on. The area had a nice friendly vibe. Pretty basic eating options but Whakatane is close by for more options. Golf course looks fabulous but i didn't play this time. Will pack the clubs for next visit for sure.

I would recommend the jalapeno poppers and chili margaritas at Cadera and the keto breakfast at Moxi. All the food looked incredible at Moxi, I really wanted to try the cheese scone but resisted....

Ohope was great to stay at and we could drive to other areas during our stay and also there were some good restaurants to eat at which of course we did. Lots of areas to walk if you enjoy that type of holiday and of course the beach when it is nearer the summer. We went to the Cadera Mexican restaurant in Ohope and really enjoyed the food. We went twice to the Fishermans Wharf and the food was great.

Ohope beach is a stunning beach and famous for its white sand, clear water and surf. The area is well served for eating out or gathering supplies for eating at home, and why not with stunning views from our accommodation at Seaview Studio. A very peaceful pleasant place to get away from it all. Most enjoyable.

The room was well appointed, the juice and biscuits on arrival were a lovely touch, the heat pump helped us sleep well at an ideal temperature, the bed was comfortable, everything we needed was provided, watching the sun rise over the sea was breathtaking, we had many food choices close by, the extraction fan in the bathroom worked very well and we enjoyed our short stay very much. This represented fabulous value for money for us, and I would highly recommend a stay here to anybody travelling for work or as a couple (probably small for children).
